Bosses Guide

Allumeria’s bosses are summoned, not accidental cave spawns. Steam Early Access 0.15 lists three bosses across three dungeons and three major biomes. Community wikis still lag: some pages mention only Forest Spirit and Snow Spirit, and they still mark snow as demo-locked. This guide treats 0.15 as the live set and flags where a mechanic was documented on an older build.

Forest Spirit (deer)

The Forest Spirit is a blue anthropomorphic deer with 200 health and 2 defence. It is the first boss you should fight and the one that existed even in the forest demo.

Craft an Ominous Deer Skull from ten Skull Fragments at a Workbench. Fragments drop from combat and dungeon loot; the Forest Chest path in the Forest Dungeon walkthrough is the reliable farm. Use the skull to spawn the fight. During combat the Spirit can summon three Deer Shields, call Wizards, and fire Deer Skull projectiles. If the player dies, the boss despawns. Do not treat it like a Minecraft raid that waits politely.

Guaranteed drop: a Forest Key. Extra rolls include Blessing of the Forest, five Health Potions, and one to three Flowers of the Forest. Bring copper or forest-tier weapons from the weapons tier list, a paved arena so adds cannot spawn under your feet (building), and Returning Potions. Kite shields rather than face-tanking 200 HP in a hallway.

Snow Spirit (evil snowman)

Snow Spirit also lists 200 health and 2 defence. It lives in the Snow Dungeon boss room, which the demo omits. Summoning is a build: on the Snow Boss Spawner, stack two Big Snowballs and crown them with an Evil Tophat. A painting in the dungeon hints at the recipe if you refuse spoilers.

The fight is a dismantle. The Spirit levitates the tophat and slams it for about 20 damage. After roughly 25 percent damage the hat phase ends and the torso attacks. Later the bottom and head each take a turn. Homing ice projectiles deal about 15. Parts drop Copper Tokens as they break. A full kill drops diamonds (enough to make a Diamond Block in documented loot tables) and the Hat’s Off! achievement.

Prep for snow before you walk in: cobalt gear if you have it, Ice Torches, and respect for permafrost. Standing on permafrost applies Freezing, slows you, and damages you. Icycles fall and freeze. Yetis hit for 30. The biomes guide is mandatory homework. Do not fight this in copper greaves.

Desert worm (0.15 chapter)

Developer notes for 0.15 describe a desert tower dungeon: fight upward through spawners, launch pads, and vertical rooms, open the roof, loot paragliders, and use an altar to summon a giant worm in the sands below. You then dive on a glider and fight in three dimensions. Palladium is the desert metal tier. Quicksand is the environmental tax. Treat this as the third Early Access boss even if older encyclopedias have not written a full stat block yet. Bring movement trinkets from the trinkets list (Paraglider, Jet Boots, Gecko Gloves) or the fight’s verticality will kill you before the worm does.

A later planned finale is a sky dungeon that wants keys from every other dungeon. It is not the 0.15 credits sequence. Do not stall forest progression waiting for a floating palace.

Shared rules

Bosses are chapter gates, not optional elites. Forest unlocks tools and keys. Snow unlocks cold-tier loot and bragging rights. Desert is the current metal ceiling. Eat Heart Beets so you are not taking tophat slams at twenty HP. Co-op helps for add clear and hurts if everyone dies at once and despawns the Forest Spirit. Align the attempt using multiplayer. After a win, dump loot into ranked lists and the progression checklist so you do not walk into the next biome with a baguette and a dream.

If a summon item does nothing, you are in the wrong room. Forest skulls are not snow tophats. Snowballs on forest grass will not spawn a deer. Read the dungeon, then start the ritual.
